Terms and Conditions – Expedition Palawan

Welcome to Expedition Palawan by Tropical Trek Tours and Transport Philippines (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using our website and booking our expedition trips, you (“you”, “guest”, or “traveler”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
A non-refundable deposit (typically 20%) is required to secure your spot.
Full payment must be completed before the start of the trip, as per your booking confirmation.
Payments can be made through approved methods on our website or via direct arrangement.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: 80% refund (less deposit/fees as stated in your booking).
Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure: no refund.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services.
In case of force majeure (such as severe weather or government restrictions), we may reschedule, offer a travel credit, or issue a partial refund as detailed in our policies.

3. Changes by the Company

We reserve the right to modify or cancel trips due to safety, weather, operational, or other unavoidable reasons.
If we must cancel your trip, you will be offered rescheduling, a travel credit, or a refund in line with our policy.

4. Traveler Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to provide accurate information at booking, including any health or dietary requirements.
You must have a valid passport, necessary visas, and comply with local laws and regulations.
Please follow all safety instructions from our guides and staff.
You are responsible for your own travel insurance and for bringing any required medication.
We reserve the right to remove travelers who endanger themselves or others, behave inappropriately, or break the law, with no refund.

5. Health & Safety

Some expeditions involve physical activities and exposure to outdoor elements.
Please consult a physician if you have health concerns before booking.
Notify us of any medical conditions or special needs in advance.
Life jackets and safety equipment are provided and must be used as instructed.

6. Liability

We are not liable for loss, injury, illness, damage, or delays caused by third-party providers, natural events, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control.
Travelers participate at their own risk and are encouraged to secure travel insurance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, images, and materials on our website are owned by Expedition Palawan or used with permission.
You may not copy, distribute, or use any material without written consent.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your data according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

10. Updates

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website.
